Essay

It was analyzed factors that influenced the formation of P. Rumiantsev views on the development of Hetman. Viewed the process of formation of the Second Little Russia Collegium and the role of the Governor-General in its activity. Defined the role Rumyantseva in the incorporation of Ukrainian lands in the system-wide management. Analyzed the essence of the reform of the Left, conducted by P. Rumyantsev and detects compliance of these reforms is scheduled Catherine II course on the development of the Russian Empire. Disclosed the features of relationships governor general of Ukrainian elite and the peasants, as well as its role in the assimilation of Ukrainian in the second half of the XVIII century.
