Adamskyi V. "Foundation and Functioning of Theological Faculty of Kamianets-Podilskyi State Ukrainian University (1918-1920)".

For the first time in the dissertation on the basis of the analysis of historiographic literature, involvement into the scientific circulation of the complex of archival materials, published documents, publications in periodicals the process of foundation and activity of theological faculty of Kamianets-Podilskyi State Ukrainian University has been studied in system and thoroughly. In the research the genesis of founding theological education in the Universities, situated on Ukrainian territories, has been studied, the role of officials of the Ministry of People's Education, Ministry of Confessions, representatives of the Council of Kyiv ecclesiastical seminary, public institutions and self-governing bodies of Kamianets-Podilskyi in solving important issues, connected with the opening of theological structural unit, has been revealed. Special attention has been paid to the format of meetings, where participated the main initiators and project developers, at which the problem of subordination of theological faculties and the place of their first and foremost opening, have been debated.
