Zapletniuk M. Formation of a civil society in Ukraine in the 1990s (historical aspect).

Dissertation is devoted to the study of the formation of civil society in Ukraine during the 1990s. The author substantiated the conclusions of regarding the effects of the recovery of the Ukrainian independence and its impact on the public consciousness. It provided a comprehensive analysis of the process of formation of civil society in Ukraine in recent years of the twentieth century and the understanding of the results of the reforms. On the basis of a wide range of archival sources the author analyzed the processes of formation of Ukrainian civil society during the 1990s, defined the role of the national democratic parties, movements and associations, not only in the process of sovereignty, but also in the process of formation of civil society.
