Essay

The research object - Effect of low temperature storage on the biological properties of probiotics after immobilization on enterosorbents. The research aim is to stydy the biological properties of probiotics after immobilization on enterosorbents and following storage at low temperarures. Research methods - spectrophotometry, calorimetry, light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, fluorescent microscopy, microbiological methods, software cooling of the samples, statistical analysis. Experimentally determined conditions of immobilization of probiotic S.boulardii, B. bifidum, L.bulgaricus on sorbents based on activated carbon "Sorbeks", "SUMS-1". The method of determining preservation system "carrier cells" (Ukraine Patent 72110) was developed. It has been shown that during freezing the preservation rate of the "carrier-cells" system, as well as the viability of free cells are influenced by the carrier structure, cooling rate, species cryoresistance of microorganisms, composition of preservation medium. The immobilized on enterosorbents probiotics prior to and after low temperature storage provided more rapid and comlete recovery of indigenous gastro-intestinal microflora of the laboratory animals with experimental desbiosis, promoted faster eradication of translocated intestinal microflora from internal organs.
