Suprunov Y. Training of Military Specialists of Intelligence and Information Systems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

It is investigated the state of the scientific development of training of military specialists of intelligence and information systems of tactical level for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the author proposed periodization of historiography on the subject of the study in the dissertation. Military educational backgrounds for creation of a system of training of military specialists of intelligence and information systems were revealed, the network of military educational establishments where the specialists' training was conducted until 1991 and its main indicators are defined. The existing approaches to the periodization and the definition of succession of military educational institutions were considered, the eligibility criteria were justified and the periodization of development of chosen military educational establishment in accordance with changes in the means of conducting of armed struggle and tasks of staffing the Armed Forces was carried out. A process of creation, establishment and development of the system of military specialists training in 1991-2011 was disclosed. The author's periodization of the process according to the characteristic features of each period: creation (1991-1996); establishment (1997-2002); development (2002-2011) was proposed moreover, justified; their basic content, some trends and the results were determined, positive and some negative decisions that were taken at that time were revealed. Peculiarities of subject matter, organization and support of the educational process in the training of intelligence and information systems specialists were disclosed as well as the essence of a complex system of training in the organizational and structural level and the level of training content. The evaluation of a complex system depending of variables was held in the retrospective review. These variables are the number of specializations; their affinity; specialists' order volume; budget of study time; ratios of teaching staff and non-permanent personnel. The experience of training of intelligence and information systems specialists was generalized and the practical recommendations for the improvement of their training for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in modern conditions were defined.
