Essay

The theoretical and methodological foundations and methodology of the regional health-geographical study of population health were developed. The conditions and factors of influence on the state of health in the Kherson region were revealed and analyzed. Rank index of the health of the population was calculated and the typology of administrative districts in region was made. Due to its results three types of areas with two subtypes in each type were defined. Considering this typology the priority areas of health protection and improving of medical and demographic situation in the Kherson region were identified.
