The object of research: toponymic network of the city of Kharkiv. The aim of research: disclosuring of names genesis address urbanonimiv Kharkiv, clarifying the impact on the formation of toponymic of the city of socio-political, natural-geographic, cultural processes and factors. The subject of research: the historical development of Kharkiv address urbanonymic network from the second half of ХVII century till the beginning of ХХІ century. The methods of research: analytical, historic-genetic, historic-comparative, problem-chronological. The results of research and novelty: the stages of formation and transformation urbanonimiv were established. The characteristic of formation of the city space toponomic are discovered, general trends observed in the formation of the city toponymic network.
