Essay

Goal: establishing patterns of display of traits of starting material of lettuce (Lactuca sativa var. secalina L.) to create high adaptive and productive varieties. Object: Analytical and synthetic breeding of lettuce; induction of the starting material for breeding by mutagenesis of leaf lettuce. Novelty: For the first time in Ukraine established the effectiveness of the use of chemical and physical mutagenesis breeding for lettuce. Confirmed efficiency 3 mutagenic action of drugs and gamma radiation. The method of selection of lettuce, which allows 2-fold speed up the receipt of varieties. Emphasis visokoadaptivnih 16 genotypes of lettuce (-0,65 <bi <0,89). Established important correlations between qualitative and quantitative traits (-0,5 <rs <0,79). A technological method of growing seeds of lettuce, which minimizes up 14,7% matrikalnu different and qualitative formed seeds. Results: Developed a method of producing new genotypes lettuce by induced mutagenesis, which allows you to change up to 47% of the morphological features and elements of technology of cultivation of highquality seeds of lettuce leaf (germination capacity to 92%). A new variety of lettuce leaf Krutyansky yield of 9,5 t / ha, with the economic efficiency of 25900 UAH / ha. Implemented on an area of 0,2 ha. Submitted for the NTSGRRU a line of lettuce leaf of Ellan, yield (6,93 t / ha), drought resistant (7 b.). Developed "Methodology classifier ..." and "Business Directory ...".
