Stepenko T. Selection and monitoring of genetic source material for sweet pepper heterosis in glass

The thesis is a theoretical generalization and studying the breeding value of commercial signs of new source material for sweet pepper heterosis for greenhouses growing conditions. In result of studies evaluated the collection of new lines of sweet pepper on the main agronomic traits. The sources of the agronomic traits were studied and selected to involve them in further breeding for create early ripening, high heterosis hybrids of sweet pepper. The questions of inheritance and the nature of display of economic traits in F1 hybrids and revealed correlations between them were studied. The results of the evaluation of new lines for cold resistance were found. The general and specific combining abilities of the new forms of the main economic indicators were described. The best line of high and stable GCA and effects of SCA on a number of breeding characteristics were highlighted. Established true heterosis indicators and dominance degree of hybrids F1. In result of the cluster analysis were highlight the most genetically distant line, which should be used in the selection of the breeding pairs at heterosis breeding of sweet pepper for cultivation in greenhouses conditions.
