The dissertation thesis for the scientific degree of the candidate of veterinary sciences, speciality 16.00.03 - veterinary microbiology, epizootology, infectious diseases and immunology. National Scientific Center 'Institute of Experimental and Clinical Veterinary Medicine'. Kharkiv, 2016. The dissertation is devoted to the research of epizootic situation with infectious bronchitis in Ukraine, an isolation of virus pathogenic strains, as well as an improvement of disease's laboratory diagnostics by development of ELISA test kit for the detection of specific antibodies against infectious bronchitis virus in chicken sera. According to the epizootological, serological, virological, and molecular and genetic studies, the circulation of infectious bronchitis virus in poultry farms in 13 regions of Ukraine and AR Crimea has been found. Serological monitoring in farms in different regions of Ukraine had been conducted for 2007-2015. Virus field isolate has been obtained and its biological characteristics have been studied. ELISA test kit for the detection of antibodies in chicken sera and based on manufacturing H 120 strain of infectious bronchitis virus has been developed (range of experimental studies for virus purification and concentration, as well as obtaining anti-specious immune peroxidase conjugate against chicken Ig G, positive and negative chicken blood sera has been carried out, regulations of the ELISA reaction for the detection of antibodies against disease's pathogen when studying blood sera in one dilution have been defined). The possibility of test kit's using to determine the postvaccinal immunity against infectious bronchitis and conducting of monitoring studies has been proved.
