Koshelev V. Tetravalent associated inactivated vaccine against Newcastle disease, infectious bronchitis, infectious bursal disease, and egg drop syndrome.

Object of the study: Newcastle disease, infectious bronchitis, infectious bursal disease, egg drop syndrome. Subject of the study: epizootic situation of ND, IB, IBD and EDS among poultry, wild and synantropic birds, the biological properties of viruses ND, IB, IBD and EDS, the specific immunity of ND, IB, IBD and EDS, the tehnology of production tetravalent associated inactivated vaccinfor ND, IB, IBD, and EDS. As the result of epizootologic, virologic, serologic, and molecular genetic studies conducted in 2011-2015, the circulation and associate cause of Newcastle disease, infectious bronchitis, and infectious bursal disease among poultry was found, the role of wild and synantropic birds in 1st serotype paramyxovirus (Newcastle disease virus) spreading was confirmed. Modern condition of vaccine prophylaxis against ND, IB, IBD, and EDS in Ukraine was analyzed. Viruses' strains to manufacture tetravalent inactivated associated vaccine for ND, IB, IBD, and EDS specific prophylaxis were selected. Authenticity of viruses' manufacturing strains was confirmed, their biologic characteristics were studied and depositing was carried out. First in Ukraine, the technology of manufacturing and control of 'AviVac-IECVM-2' tetravalent associated inactivated vaccine against Newcastle disease, infectious bronchitis, infectious bursal disease, and egg drop syndrome was developed. Vaccine use and quality regulation were developed, clinical trials, specific immunity formation, dynamics, level and duration in chicken after application were studied. 'AviVac-IECVM-2 - tetravalent associated inactivated vaccine against Newcastle disease, infectious bronchitis, infectious bursal disease, and egg drop syndrome' was registered in Ukraine (registration certificate № ВВ-00801-02-16 of 18 July 2016).
