Essay

The dissertation research is devoted to the study of the effects of exposure of ultra-low doses of lead acetate and the combined effect of lead acetate and metal citrates (silver, gold) during embryogenesis and morphogenesis of the liver of embryos and fetuses of rats in the experiment. Spectrum of disorders of hepatogenesis under the lead exposure by low doses of the lead acetate was discovered, which was manifested in delaying of angiogenesis and hematopoiesis in the early stages of embryogenesis. Hypervascularization, delayed development and differentiation of the liver cells was detected in the later stages of embryogenesis. On 20th day of embryogenesis relative area of liver vessels was increased by 41,9 %, relative area of hematopoietic cells was increased by 39,9 % and relative area of hepatocytes was decreased by 40,7 % compared to the control group. Injection of silver citrate on a background of lead exposure has revealed compensatory effect of the silver citrate to damaging effects of lead acetate. It has manifested in a decrease of tissue hypoxia manifestations and recovery of processes of maturation and differentiation of fetal liver cells in experiment on rats. Relative area of vessels was decreased by 43,4 %, relative area of hematopoietic cells was decreased by 32,7 % and relative area of hepatocytes was increased by 42,1 % compared to lead exposure group on 20th day of embryogenesis.
