Essay

The thesis is the first in Ukrainian historiography complex research the history, of the Bulgarian ethnic minority USSR in the 20-30'th XX century. Based on the wide range of historical sources and scientific literature revealed major trends in economic, political and cultural development of the Bulgarian ethnic minority outlined the chronological period. The paper deals with the stages of implementation of the national policy towards the Bulgarian population, networking Bulgarian administrative units, the formation of the government, police and courts in the places of compact settlement of Bulgarians. Significant place in the history ranked illumination and analysis of cultural and educational institutions, Bulgarian central and regional newspapers and magazines. The thesis analyzes the reason and incentive policy of indigenization and those associated with liquidation of national areas and systems of the Bulgarian education institutions. Characterized by a "Bulgarian national operation" during the period of the Great Terror in the USSR.
