Essay

This study shows the development of GA. General M. Omelianovych-Pavlenko and Colonel E. Myshkovskyy from Dnipro region were able to turn unorganized military formations in the GA to well organized and structured army. This research shows the effort and approach to form the very first army troops. The Military Service obligation law for citizens of Western Ukrainian National Republic and performance specifics in Eastern Galychina is analyzed. It was also shown that Western Ukrainian National Republic military administration activities negatively influenced troop enrolment process. This paper shows the recruiters training and specifics in education for various troop types.
