Kolomiets D. Philosophical analysis of person socialization in media-educational space of information society

The object is self-development of a person in the media educational environment; the goal is the grounding of effective educational strategies of self-development and socialization in media-education conditions of information-oriented society; the novelty is the development of optimization concepts of the educational practices for self-development based on philosophical and educational verifications of different types of socialization in media educational environment of information-oriented society; the methods are the systems analysis, structural-functional, analytical, and comparative; the results are the grounded expediency of multi-paradigm methodological research program for socialization process in media-educational environment based on the mediology integrating potential, combination of philosophical, educational, and cultural discourses; it was defined a positive role of media and cultural foundations of the educational environment development in the context of humanistic environment formation of socialization and a decisive role of media culture as a positive basis for changes in the content of goal-setting of postmodern education that transform media-educational environment in area where a human explores the reality through the information technology; the investigated materials can be used in the preparation and teaching the courses in philosophy, social philosophy, philosophy of education, philosophy of culture, media philosophy, pedagogy, cultural studies, sociology, ethics; the field is the philosophy of education.
