Essay

The object is self-actualization and self-realization of a person in the socio-cultural context of the informational-oriented society; the purpose is to define the features of the processes of self-actualization and self-realization of a person in the educational environment of the information-oriented society; the novelty is the development of a theoretical model of varied processes of self-actualization and self-realization as the factors of development of a person in the educational environment of the information-oriented society, whose educational and psychological correction is based on their philosophical and educational reflection; the methods are the methodology of structural-functional and comparative-genesis analysis; the results are the reasoned role of the process of self-actualization as the integrated goal of the educational activity, which is focused on deploying personal capacity in a way of a certain ideal, and it comes from the personal inner world, their highest spiritual values; it is shown that the concepts of self-actualization and self-realization are the most adequate for study within post-nonclassical educational problems of personal self-development; investigations are appropriate to be used for developing training courses for middle and high schools, including the courses in philosophy of education, acmeology, personal development, and training for skills of self-development in the educational sector - the philosophy of education.
