Object - analytical philosophy of education of R.S Peters; objective- reconstruction of scientific heritage of R.S. Peters with definition of methodological potential of analytical philosophy of education and opportunities for the implementation of its achievements in national educational practice; methods - dialectical, the unity of the historical and logical, comparative, hermeneutic, systematic, causal analysis; novelty - complex theoretical reconstruction of legacy of R.S. Peters as the founder of analytical philosophy of education; results - analyzed the views on the education of R..S Peters, which built on the methodological basis of neopositivistic ethics and on "rational code of morality," and justified function of knowledge in the analysis of the value structure of education in transfer to the younger generation of scientific, spiritual and social experience; found philosophical and pedagogical aspects of the analytical method for determining the nature of the concept as areas reflected in the concept of social experience; analyzed using the analytical method for organizing basic educational concepts with the help of linguistic analysis tools; subject - the philosophy of education.
