Piniazhko O. Pharmacoeconomic studies of medicines for the treatment of gynecological diseases

The object - institutional, medical and pharmaceutical constituents of women's reproductive health and pharmacoeconomic components of pharmaceutical care in gynecology; aim - substantiation of modern methodological approaches of health technology assessment, new methods of pharmacoeconomic analysis for common gynecological diseases, methodology of multi-criteria decision analysis for rational selection of medicines; methods - system, content analysis, marketing, retrospective, integrated frequency/ABC/VEN analysis, pharmacoeconomic, modelling, statistical, survey; novelty - at the first time substantiated methodology for multi-criteria decision analysis and published an informative letter, proposed the algorithm of HTA Core model to select cost-effective medicines to the regulatory lists, reimbursement and health insurance programs; results - substantiated methodical approaches to health technology assessment based on European requirements for the treatment of common gynecological diseases in Ukraine, processed and tested methods of pharmacoeconomic analysis of drugs - "cost minimization", "cost of illness" for endometriosis, "cost-utility", "risk sharing" - for uterine fibroids treatment, prepared system of educational and methodological support on HTA for pharmacists and doctors; introduction - in practice of health care authorities, educational process and scientific work of departments of educational institutions; branch - pharmacy.
