Essay

It has been found that against the background of sialoschesis in rats after one-stage bilateral removal of the parotid and mandibular glands develops perceptible structural reorganization of stomach wall, that is progressing development of dystrophic and atrophic processes in the gastric mucosa. It has been discovered that morphological changes in the structural components of stomach wall occur against the background of the reorganization of its bloodstream which is typical for conditions with increased blood supply of internal organs with simultaneous increase of vascular resistance. The experimental substantiation of donor saliva protective influence on morphofunctional condition of structural elements of stomach wall in rats after one-stage bilateral removal of mandibular and parotid glands has been given in the study. This has been confirmed by the decreasing range of detected morphological and morphometric changes in the postoperative period as well as by earlier remodeling of tissue and blood vessels of stomach bloodstream towards the condition and indicators that had been registered in intact animals.
