The thesis is devoted to a theoretical synthesis and solution of the problems of health keeping formation competence of future teachers of biology. The urgency of the topic, is analyzed and development. The essential key concept of the study "students health keeping competence", "the health keeping competence formation of future teachers of biology by means of innovative technologies in conditions of the educational environment of higher education". The term "health keeping competence formation of future teachers of biology by means of innovative technologies in terms of the educational environment of higher education" is indicated the purposeful process of students mastering of knowledge about health as the most important value of life, acquiring skills to analyze, evaluate, monitor their activity with health keeping, experience recreational activities: the development of personal qualities (determination, will, perseverance, discipline, diligence, etc.), based on the organization of events (content development, software and methodological support and technology for monitoring the health and health promotion students), that considers essential characteristics of the educational environment in terms of its impact on student actualization of subjectivity in the preservation and development of their health. Criteria and indicators of health keeping competence formation of future teachers of biology are specified: motivational-value (unity sustained motivation for a healthy lifestyle and value attitude to health equity and others); cognitive informational (fundamental basic knowledge of students about health and its components, healthy lifestyles, ways of healing and improving health reserves as complex social, personal and physiological phenomena, knowledge content health keeping competence); practical-activity (practical skills and experience health keeping activities necessary for the preservation and maintenance of health) criteria. Based on specific criteria and indicators described health keeping levels of competence of future teachers of biology in higher education: low, medium and high. Diagnostics of health keeping competence formation of future teachers of biology are created and implemented, which included analysis of the formation health keeping competence of future teachers of biology in the higher educational institutions study process and stated experiment implementation. The model of health keeping formation competence of future teachers of biology by means of innovative technologies in conditions of the educational environment of higher education institutions, covering these units and their components: methodological and target (goal, approaches, principles) procedural contents (steps and content), organization technological (traditional and innovative forms, methods, technologies, training, pedagogical conditions), evaluative-effective (criteria, indicators, levels corresponding result) units, reflecting the specific health keeping expertise and provide its formation in the future biology teacher. The main components of the model interact via feedback mechanisms. Pedagogical conditions of health keeping competence of future teachers of biology are theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested: the promotion of the positive motivation, the formation of values, deepened knowledge about the culture of health keeping, healthy lifestyle, health keeping activity of students through improved content and software and methodological support; optimization of the process of forming health keeping competence of future teachers of biology in university educational environment through the introduction of innovative technologies; organization of independent work of students for acquiring personal experience health keeping. .
