Hauriak O. Ideas of Physical Education in Pedagogical Heritage of Hryhorii Vashchenko

Historic-pedagogical analysis of the ideas of physical education in the pedagogical heritage of H. Vashchenko has been done in the dissertation. On the basis of the historiographical approach to the problem in the context of domestic personalistics the influence of the world theory and practice of physical education on the formation and development of the ideas of H. Vashchenko has been grounded. The content and fundamental basis of the concept of body education in the structure of Ukrainian educational ideal has been cleared out. It is found out that body education as a pedagogical system has its characteristics (the goal, tasks, principles, forms, methods and means have been grounded). The theoretical and practical ideas as for the physical education have been analyzed. The development of the ideas of physical education of H. Vashchenko in the modern theory and practice of physical education in Ukraine has been analyzed.
