Essay

The dissertation deals with the problem of formation of professional identity of the future teachers of mathematics. Pedagogical conditions of formation of professional identity of the future teachers of mathematics have been identified and experimentally tested. The author worked out the structural-functional model of such process that unites the goal and the result of preparation of students and was implemented in three stages, which include formation of the components of professional identity and determination of levels of well-formedness of professional identity of the future teachers of mathematics: high (formed) sufficient (imposed), medium (moratorium) and low (uncertain).
