Chura O. Transformation of communist structures in Lviv during perestroika

Object: Communist Party structure of Lviv, which formed the basis of political and socio-economic system in the city. Objective: analysis the processes of transformation of communist structures of Lviv due to the perception of economic, democratic, religious and national liberation demands of Lviv society in the second half of the 80's - early 90's of XX century. Methods: problem-chronological, comparative historical and others. Results: for the first time the perception of Lviv Communist Party cells in socio-economic reform for economic complex of the city, the deployment of inner party administrative reform and reducing of party size and financial strength, varied vector reception of the national democratic movement at different levels of the Communist Party structures, attitudes toward religious Renaissance, roots and ways of revival of national –communist union, opposition perception and participation in activities of SCNR, improved scientific analysis principles of the causes, processes and consequences of the collapse of the communist authorities at the local level, the practice of studying the national liberation movement and religious revival at the turn of the 80's and 90's of XX century. Scope of application: for writing of generalizing scientific works on modern history of Ukraine, for the preparation of teaching aids, training programs and special courses, in activities of high and local institutions of the government to improve public policy in the church and the religious sphere, maintaining confessional tolerance, ensuring of implementation Law of Ukraine "On freedom of conscience and religious organizations".
