Fadieieva S. Efficacy of decamethoxine in the combined treatment of infectious exacerbation of asthma

Object of study: infectious exacerbation of asthma; the goal - to enhance the efficiency of treatment of infectious exacerbation of asthma by adding decamethoxine, an antiseptic agent as a nebulized inhalation to multimodal therapy; methods of investigation: clinical, biochemical, virological, microbiological, instrumental, statistics; novelty: high sensitivity of major causative agents (viral and bacterial) infectious exacerbation of asthma to decamethoxine was established for the first time. The study revealed that inhalations of 0.02 % decamethoxine antiseptic solution did not produce any negative effect on the indicies of pulmonary function in patient with infectious exacerbation of asthma. Clinical efficiency of nebulized inhalation of 0.02% decametoxine solution was proved and expediency of inclusion to the multimodal therapy in patients with infectious exacerbations of asthma.
