Essay

The object is editions of scientific and popular content. The purpose is to develop the concept model of scientific and popular content's editions, which implements its functional characteristic features. The methods are comparative historical, analytical methods of classifications and typology, modelling method, foresight and SWOT-analysis. The thesis is a research of concept model of editions of scientific and popular content, which implements its functional characteristic features. The notion and the technological peculiarities of SWOT-analysis concerning the editions of scientific and popular content are distinguished and the functional model of the editions of scientific and popular content is developed. The methods of SWOT-analysis is determined as a background of founding the analytical modelling base with distinguishing definite internal and external characteristics of the editions of scientific and popular content. The examples of the publications in "National Geographic Magazine" and "Zeleni Carpaty" shape the methods of marketing and content characteristics of the editions. The historical stages of developing these magazines are under study. The criteria of popularizing scientific and popular content of the editions are distinguished. The sociological survey concerning the usage of scientific and popular sources by students is conducted. The sphere is an academic process.
