Essay

The object is postmodern literary discourse of Boris Akunin's novel "Almaznaya Koliesnitsa" (2003); the aim is to determine and characterise the fundamental nature of dialogueness in the postmodern novel "Almaznaya Koliesnitsa" by Boris Akunin; methods that are used: continuous sampling, descriptive, discourse analysis, dialogical interpretation, contextual analysis, functional, comparative, linguo-pragmatic; novelty - within the discursive and dialogical approach there have been first developed and systematically researched different-type dialogical relations in B. Akunin's novel "Almaznaya Kolesnitsa" with the modern literature and the preceding centuries literature, folklore, socio-political, historical and cultural epoch style in one respect and with the addresser at another point. The interdiscursive dialogueness which defines the relations "text - pre-text" and the metadiscursive dialogueness which reflects the relations "addresser - addressee" have been singled out and differentiated. Different functions of intertextual and metatextual means in the light of their participation in the organisation of dialogical interaction of discourses in Boris Akunin's novel "Almaznaya Koliesnitsa" have been researched; results - basic principles and conclusions of the dissertation facilitate the further development of dialogueness theory, extend the idea of literary postmodern discourse as a multidimensional linguistic object as well as they are a contribution to the development of general theory of discourse; factual material and study materials can be used while preparing for lecture courses and seminar classes on text linguistics, the elective course on communication theory and literary interpretation, at practicals on Russian as a foreign language. Knowledge of means and devices of dialogueness expression, their practical acquirement conduce to both adequate interpretation of the text content and its construction which is reasonably organised from the perspective of communication tasks. Dissertational material may be applied in further studying of the author's language and comprehensive description of B. Akunin's individual style; field - linguistics.
