Dukhina N. Methods for adaptation of the original seed material of potatoes in terms of the Eastern Forest Steppe of Ukraine

Object: adaptation patterns the formation of the source of improved seed of the sorts of potato during transition from vitro conditions to in vivo conditions using soil mixers, irrigation and growth regulators. Objective: establish features of adaptation of improved seed material of the sorts of potato in the transition from in vitro conditions in vivo and develop effective elements of technology of seed production for the Eastern forest-steppe of Ukraine.Novelty: the first time in the conditions of Eastern forest-steppe of Ukraine there was established adaptability of improved seed the sorts of potato during the transition from vitro to conditions in vivo. There was installed the high correlation between survival rate and height of plants (r = 0,70); between yield and leaf-area duration (r = 0,96) during seedling the method of growing plants-regenerants. Results: there was established optimum soil mixers (cocosoil + organic + soil) for rearing of regenerated plants, which provides increased survival of 14 - 21 %. Also there was dedicated effective growth regulator (Kornevin) for growing plants-regenerants, which provides the formation high in comparison with the control (0,41 - 1,12 kg/m 2 ) yields of seed potatoes and the level of profitability - 222 %. 2 patents for utility model for the developed methods adaptation were received. The developments were introduced in the farms in Volyn and Sumy areas on the area of 0,05 ha and 0.10 ha.
