Huz N. Cooperation of Ukraine with the Council of Europe (1991 - 2014 years): historical perspective.

The dissertation deals with the cooperation of Ukraine with the Council of Europe during the period from 1991 to 2014. The study finds the main factors that influenced the emergence of the state and the idea of European integration for Ukraine's accession to the Council of Europe. It analyzes the essence of obligations taken by Ukraine when joining the Council of Europe, the importance of their performance for the state and the entry into the European legal space. The dissertation defines contribution of Ukraine to strengthen the role of the Council of Europe through participation in its governing structural bodies, because Ukraine interacts with the Committee of Ministers, the Parliamentary Assembly and the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in promoting the core values of the Council of Europe.
