The philosophical conceptualization of axiological dimension of transformation in the British teacher education in the information society is made for the first time in the national discourse of philosophy. The several features of the British system of teacher training as an educational phenomenon of information age is demonstrated. In particular, it is shown that in the system of teacher education is changing in its axiological direction in the context of reforms, namely, solving the problem of preparing a "new teacher" according to the state policy aimed to ensure the education for all the people (not elected ones); spreading of the market ideology and more. It is shown that axiology education is a heuristic research strategy for analyzing of transformations in teacher education sphere. The role of the information society in axiological dimension of transformation processes of modern pedagogical education is defined ? the education system becomes more flexible and open, democratic and accessible. The role of the ideal of a "new professionalism" in the value dynamics of transformation in the British teacher education and democratization is defined. The role of education as an axiological priority that defines the dynamics of transformation processes in the information age. The author explication of axiological principles of open education as a modern model of British teachers is defined. It is shown that the British experience in teacher training has the heuristic potential to justify axiological foundations of national teacher education system. The rational revision of achievements of the national educational traditions and achievements of selective educational systems of countries with a high level of implementation of the ideas of the information society has high heuristic potential
