Built on efficient and representative source basis and taking into consideration national and international historiography the dissertation offers following key results: author's proposed and justified periodization of development of the Mongol military affairs in the first half of the XIII century and their military campaigns chronology; revealed meaning of organizational fundamentals of the Mongol army and related tendencies of its development, discovered characteristics and particularities of the Mongol organization and armament, the Mongol strategy and tactics in the studied period. Defined and systemized ways and tactics of field battles (engagements), sieges, assaults and takings of fortresses by the Mongols; disclosed approaches to training of the Mongol warriors, improvements of their fighting capabilities; author's estimates of quantitative and ethnical composition of the Mongol Empire army during their conquest campaigns in the first half of the XIII century.
