The dissertation is devoted to complex regularities investigation of the submandibular salivary gland structural change at the macro-, micro- and ultrastructural level and changes in their chemical composition under conditions of the action of heavy metal salts combination in rats of young, mature and old age, as well as the capability correction determination of the morphological changes. The negative impact of the heavy metal salts on all the studied parameters manifests itself as decreasing of the linear mass indexes, disorder of the flow system sizes, change of the parenchyma/stroma ratio is proved in the study.
