Burago O. Concept "Kyiv" in the Russian language poetry of XIX-XXІ centuries

Object: concept "Kyiv" as a fragment of the poetic picture of the world and as a verbally fixed image of different spheres of the city. Objective: system analysis of concept "Kyiv" as a part of cultural contheptosphere. Methods: the method of conceptual modelling; componental approach; discoursive analysis; field structure analysis while considering the lexical phenomena as a strict hierarchical structure; descriptive method; elements of quantitative analysis. Scientific novelty: for the first time the reconstruction of concept "Kyiv" has been realised on the material of the Russian language poetry with the model of "Kyiv text" outlined and described as a structure of mental object; the features of the concept have been distinguished; and the complex description of the verbal representation of concept "Kyiv" has been carried out with its core and periphery determined. Practical value: the results of research may be used in lecture courses on linguoconceptology, cognitive linguistics, linguoculturology, discouse-analysis, linguistic country studies, in special courses and seminars, and also in textbook compiling and lexicography.
