The research is devoted to the complex study of the socio-economic, socio-political, cultural and educational development of the Mykolaiv region in the second half of the 60's-early 90's of the XX century. Positive developments in the economy of the second half of the 60's, caused by the empowerment in planning and economic activities of enterprises and associations, stimulated the effective work, acceleration of scientific and technological progress.
