Object - the professional training of future teachers at higher education pedagogical institutions; aim - to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated pedagogical conditions of higher education pedagogical institutions' press professional-pedagogical potential realization on the quality of teachers' professional training; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research is the first to substantiate a complex of pedagogical conditions providing for the efficiency in realization of professional-pedagogical potential of higher education pedagogical institutions' press in the process of professional training of teachers: the advanced pedagogical experience dissemination, engaging future teachers in writing materials for the editions to be published, the use of published materials in the teaching process; the influence of substantiated pedagogical conditions on the quality of professional training of future teachers has been experimentally tested; the definitions of the terms " higher education institution's press", "press professional-pedagogical potential" within the framework of a teacher training educational institution have been specified; the ways of incorporating press potential in training future teachers are determined; the complex of functions and forms specific to media and the criteria and indices of the quality of future teachers' training are analysed; the issues of the tendencies in higher education pedagogical institution press development in the national higher education as well as the approaches to the professional-pedagogical training of future teachers in the present day context have acquired further study; results - the experimental testing of scientifically substantiated pedagogical conditions of higher education pedagogical institutions' press professional-pedagogical potential realization prompts to recommend their implementation in the teaching process and in the work of editorial offices at higher education pedagogical institutions of Ukraine with the aim to raise the quality of future teachers' training. The materials of the research are worth being incorporated in the teachers' professional development process. The experimentally tested scientific and methodological support materials providing for the efficiency of the researched conditions of higher education pedagogical institutions' press professional-pedagogical potential realization can be adapted to the requirements specific for training teachers of different subjects; field - pedagogy
