Vadziuk I. Optimization of pharmaceutical provision for patients with thyroid pathologies.

Object - specialized medical and pharmaceutical provision of patients with thyroid diseases; aim - to analyze and optimize specialized pharmaceutical care system and medicinal provision of patients with disorders of thyroid gland (TG) with justification of standard information about medicines for next edition of Ukrainian National formulary (UNF) and National List of Essential Medicines; methods - informational search systems, market analysis, expert assessment questionnaire survey, retrospective analysis, methods of pharmacoeconomic analysis "cost of illness" and "cost-minimization", statistical, graphical methods; novelty - it was first analyzed the dynamics of drugs for treatment of thyroid diseases included in to 8 issues of UNF; it was detected antithyroid drag that is not registered in Ukraine, but is potential for further implementation to the national pharmaceutical market; as a result of a comparative analysis of British national formulary (BNF) with UNF it was found antithyroid drug that is registered in Ukraine, recommended BNF but is absent in UNF; results - theoretically substantiated and introduced ways for optimization of pharmaceutical provision for patients with thyroid diseases; introduction - into medical and educational process; branch - pharmacy.
