Horbachuk O. Economic diplomacy in economic security provision of a state

In particular, the empirical part of the thesis research, as a result of correlation, regression and analysis of variance on previously collected and systematized primary empirical data carried out by the researcher, which was conducted using a multiplicative model, reasonably proves direct positive relationship between the action of the instruments of economic diplomacy and the main indicators of foreign economic activity of Ukraine (export, import, FDI). The observed relationship is statistically significant. This may indicate a direct influence of political and diplomatic component on foreign trade and investment component of economic security of Ukraine as well as the indirect impact on other components that should significantly adjust the general integral index of economic security of Ukraine. That is the first step in the scientific understanding of the degree of influence of economic diplomacy tools on the level of economic security. This problem requires further scientific research, but today, on the basis of the results the author can justify the need for including political and diplomatic components in the method of calculating the level of economic security.
