Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the study of the process of upbringing of value orientations in the schoolchildren of primary school by the artistic legacy of V. O. Sukhomlynsky. The historiography of the problem is outlined: the categorical and conceptual apparatus of the investigation is substantiated; it is proved that a fairy- tale is the most affordable means of cognition of surrounding world for the schoolchildren of primary school. This theoretical and methodological bases of upbringing of the schoolchildren of primary school as well as the essence of the concepts "value","value orientations" in the upbringing process are established; the most effective methods of formation of valuable orientations of the schoolchildren of primary school are identified; the characteristic of their attitude to the tales compared with pupils of 6-7 grades is given. It is proved and experimentally showed that the theoretical provisions of the legacy of V. O. Sukhomlynsky are particularly relevant in the pedagogical activity of the teachers of primary school of today.
