Vilchynska A. Image of a poet in metaphorical continuum of prose of M. I. Tsvetaeva: linguo-cognitive and functional aspects

Object: the image of a poet in the prose of M. I. Tsvetaeva. Objective: to identify and characterize the means of representation of the image of a poet within the metaphorical continuum in the prose of M. I. Tsvetaeva. Methods: Description, contextual analysis, a comparable method, content analysis. Scientific novelty: the mechanism of description of totality of metaphors is worked out as a dynamic system that is opened out within the limits of one or a few texts; for the first time a detailed analysis of complex individual metaphors of M. I. Tsvetaeva was made, which operates within the same text; the concept of metaphorical continuum was introduced; relationship between metaphors in different texts was definded. Practical value: the ability to use teaching courses linguistic analysis of a literary text, lexicology, stylistics, artistic interpretation of the text, and in the study idiostyle of M. I. Tsvetaeva within courses.
