Essay

The object is the education in the realities of the knowledge society; the goal is to make theoretical grounding of social and technological role of education in the knowledge society; the methods include comparative and historical, systemic and structural-functional analysis, phenomenological, dialectical, analytical and prognostic, synergetic, comparison and monitoring of existing processes in the national education system; the novelty is that it was made justification of the constitutive role of education in the structuring of the knowledge society as the pedagogized social reality; the results include the following: it was grounded the possibility for education as a universal social technology in contra-factual realities of the knowledge society where educational and training practices include elements of social studies and social ethics, resulting in a growing culture of use and performance of the knowledge; it was grounded the possibility for education functioning as a specific social technology that organizes a set of cognitive and communicative procedures and operations through which the production, transfer and processing of socially significant knowledge take place; it was found the social and technological potential of education as a subject and object of social order in a knowledge society; the area is the philosophy of education.
