Titarenko O. Cultural Life in Donbass in the Postwar Reconstruction Period, 1943-1953

The object of research: the cultural processes on the territory of Donbass during the postwar reconstruction. The aim of research: the analysis of the nature and characteristics of the cultural processes on the territory of Donbass during the postwar reconstruction. The subject of research: the peculiarities of cultural institutions of Donbass functioning in 1943-1953, manifestations and characteristics of the cultural life of the population in the final stage of the war and the postwar reconstruction. The methods of research: analytical, historic-genetic, historic-comparative, problem-chronological. The results of research and novelty: analyzes the social changes in the region and the demographic processes in the 1940s - early 1950s as well as their influence on the cultural landscape. The place of central, local government power and parties structures as factors of organizing the cultural life in the region had been determined. The features of the renewing the work and characterized activities of the theaters, cinemas, philharmonic, clubs, museums and libraries had been showen. It is noted that the cultural process at the Donbas in 1943-1953 years was the desire to realize the concept of formation of Soviet identity with an emphasis on social-class and professional components. The sphere of usage: the further research of the current subject, writing of the synthesis works, manuals, reading of the high school courses on the history of Ukraine.
