Object - modern higher economic education in the USA; the aim - to analyze theoretical ideas and summarize the experience of future economists professional training in the universities of the USA to improve training such professionals in the universities of Ukraine; methods - analysis, comparison, generalization, synthesis, general scientific, genetic, prognostic, systematic and structural; novelty - first, the theoretical ideas and the experience of future economists professional training in the universities of the USA are analyzed and generalized in a wide chronological range; three stages of the development of future economists professional training in the universities of the USA are identified; the complex research of the organizational features of future economists professional training in the USA is made on the degrees: associate - bachelor - master - PhD in Economics; the content, the forms and methods of future economists professional training in the USA are summarized; American scientists' contribution to the the content development, determining features, the forms and methods of future economists professional training in the USA is systematized; the possibilities of using pedagogically valuable experience of the USA in Ukrainian future economists professional training at university (departments), regional and national levels are revealed; the thesis on the current condition of economic education in comprehensive schools in the USA as a previous stage of future economists professional training in the USA got further development. The main finding is a methodological guide "The use of business games and economic experiments while teaching economics in higher educational institutions" that enables to organize classroom and individual mastering learning material by future economists more effectively. The materials of the research can be used by scientists and teachers to improve future economists professional training in the universities of Ukraine with the use of high-quality effective forms, methods, means, approved in the USA, and also by the pedagogues of continuing education institutions during advanced training and the retraining of teachers of Economics; field - pedagogy.
