The thesis is the first in Ukrainian science complex monographic research of prosecution service bases, accomplished after enactment of the amendments to the Constitution in respect to judicial system. The author formulates notion and outlines bases of prosecution service independence, provides periodization of its evolution. The conclusion is made about international nature of prosecutorial activity standards, where the basis of independence holds a crucial position.
