In the dissertation there has been theoretically generalized the scientific problem of the modernization of foreign languages learning at senior schools under conditions of multilingualism in Central European countries (Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia); there has been suggested the systematic solution of the above mentioned problem, which in its turn enables the formation improvement of the content and pedagogical set of instruments of foreign language education of Ukrainian senior pupils.
