Essay

The research is devoted to the complex analysis of the organization of professional preparation of specialists with secondary technical education in Katerynoslav Region in the late XIX - early XX century. The essence of secondary technical education and its place in the professional education system were revealed and preconditions, factors and periodization. Theoretical bases of secondary technical school throughout the studying period were characterized. Perspectives of creative usage of the experience of training professionals in modern conditions of development of vocational education in Ukraine were outlined.
