Essay

The object of the research is university education in Canada. The aim of the research is to identify the peculiarities of professional training of Bachelors of Arts in international relations at the universities of Canada and to outline the possibilities of using Canada's progressive ideas and experience in the context of university education in Ukraine. The research methods are analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, comparison, logical method, structural-system method, systematization, generalization, questioning, dialogue. The peculiarities of professional training of Bachelors of Arts in international relations at the universities of Canada have been identified for the first time. The model of professional training of Bachelors of Arts in international relations at the universities of Canada has been developed and substantiated. Common and distinctive features of the experiences of Canada and Ukraine have been identified. The possibilities of using Canada's progressive ideas and experiences in the context of university education in Ukraine have been outlined. The content of such concepts as "professional training", "Bachelor of Arts in international relations", "specialist in international relations" has been specified. The research results have been applied in the educational process. Higher educational establishments are the sphere of author's proposals usage.
