Snitsa T. Polycultural competence formation to future officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The dissertation deals with the problem of polycultural competence formation to the future border guard officers in the process of their professional training. The essence, the content and the structure of the polycultural competence of future border guard officers are revealed; the criteria and indicators are determined and the levels of already-formed polycultural competence to future border guard officers are characterized. With the purpose of effective formation of this competence the pedagogical conditions have been reasoned and experimentally tested. These conditions provide the implementation into the educational process of the main provisions of the theory of polycultural education; formation of valuable attitude to cultural diversity and intercultural interest; the use of active methods and technologies of polycultural education in the educational process; organization of educational process on the basis of valuable and reflexive interaction based on the provisions of competent and personal approaches. Methodological recommendations on polycultural competence formation of future officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine have been developed according to the results of experimental investigations.
