In work theoretical, legal and organizational and methodical bases of participation of the prosecutor in criminal proceedings on the basis of agreements are investigated. The essence of public prosecutor's activity in this sphere, its subject, tasks, principles, legal bases and the place of this activity in system of the constitutional functions of prosecutor's office is defined. Powers of the prosecutor in criminal proceedings on the basis of agreements, a form, methods and means of their realization are analyzed. Organizational, methodical and tactical aspects of participation of the prosecutor in criminal proceedings on the basis of the agreement on recognition of guilt are in details considered. Features of tactics and technique of activity of the prosecutor in criminal procedure on the basis of the agreement on reconciliation are defined. Offers on improvement of a legal regulation of this activity, and also increase of efficiency of law-enforcement practice of prosecutor's office are formulated.
