The complex and comprehensive analysis of Orthodox-Catholic relations in independent Ukraine. Established that a characteristic feature of the Orthodox-Catholic dialogue in Ukraine is not so much “canonical” or “non-canonical” his subjects as their orientation and identity “the Ukraine-centered”. It is established that the events of political life, the decision of the authorities to resolve inter-faith relations have become landmark steps that contributed to their optimization and harmonization. Determined that the Orthodox-Catholic cooperation in theological and dogmatic plane is determined by conservative principles, complicating inter-church dialogue. Proved that in the years of Ukrainian independence, above all, at the time of the Maidan and the “Revolution of dignity” intensified dialogue of Orthodox and Catholic Churches in the cult-ritual sphere.
