Hermaniuk Y. The improving estimation methods of the freight rail transit transportation in the international traffic

The study of the rail transit transportation estimation methods revealed that quantitative indicators are mainly used. The estimation methods of the effectiveness of rolling stock and railway border crossings operation in the international traffic are worked out, which are based on data of automated systems management, allow to estimate freight transportation idicators on certain routes. Qualitative assessment of rail transport transit system in the international traffic must be carried out on the basis of route speeds in certain areas, as well as of the coefficient of efficiency of rolling stock. The improved mathematical model of the freight transportation in the international traffic involving transit railway administrations which allows to take into account the differences in the organization of traffic flows in different railway administrations areas. In the thesis the competition research in the transport network was conducted on condition that where one of the carriers sets tariffs, dependent on traffic total amount and cooperates with the freight forwarder.
