Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the scientific justification of the formation and extension of the assortment of high-elasticity dress and suit cloth materials designed for the production of sewn products through the introduction of spandex into the fibrous composition. The basis for the research is the complex quality evaluation of dress and suit cloth materials of various fibrous composition for sewn products, as well as the investigation of their rubbing fastness, and determining the advantages for further optimisation of the assortment and their quality level. There have been elaborated the method of evaluation of shape stability of spandex containing dress and suit cloth materials for clothing manufacture, which helps to forecast response of textile materials in the process of end product use. The dissertation project contains the analysis of common factors of spandex influence of consumer properties data on dress & suit cloth materials. Besides, there have been elaborated the optimum fibrous composition of spandex containing dress & suit cloth material, which provides shape stability and rubbing fastness of end sewn products. New data on the specificities of complex wear of spandex containing dress & suit cloth materials have been received. The research helped to prove practicability and commercial efficiency of the introduction of the aforementioned spandex containing dress & suit cloth materials into the clothing manufacture practice. The use of new spandex containing dress & suit cloth materials helps to halve the expenses on production of gowns and skirts, as well as achieve a considerable economic effect at the cost of raw materials price reduction.
